Important: prices, fuel availability, site details, opening hours and access conditions may not be current. Confirm the price and required facilities directly with the station before travelling.

Compare the product you selected—not a made-up estimate.

Standard firstFuel Finder VIC prefers the station’s published Standard Diesel value.
Fallback labelledPremium Diesel is used only when it is the station’s sole published diesel price, and the result says so.
Outliers separatedAn extreme source report can remain visible for transparency without entering the cheapest, discount or route ranking.

Start close. Expand only when the journey needs it.

The suburb and town directory opens a 25 × 25 km comparison first. You can then expand to a 50, 100 or 200 km square while keeping Diesel selected.

A lower Diesel price can cost more after the detour.

The journey planner compares the baseline trip with routes through candidate stations. It includes added distance, estimated travel time, vehicle fuel use, the planned fill and an eligible personal discount. HERE routing is used where available; every route remains a planning aid rather than a road-access guarantee.

Price data does not prove that a site suits a heavy vehicle.

High-flow Diesel, AdBlue, B-double access, 24-hour operation, fuel cards and amenities are separate station details. Fuel Finder VIC includes a site under one of those filters only when the detail has been explicitly confirmed by a configured source or reviewed update. Missing information means unconfirmed, not unavailable.

The 5 September 2026 snapshot records statewide and eight regional aggregates from one delayed Service Victoria capture. It is useful for understanding the spread at that time, but it is not a live price guarantee or a prediction.

Government open data, clearly attributed.

Fuel-price information comes from the State of Victoria through Service Victoria and is published with an approximately 24-hour delay. Fuel Finder VIC is independent and is not endorsed or certified by the Victorian Government, fuel retailers or fuel-card providers.

Fuel-price data is attributed to the State of Victoria (Service Victoria) under CC BY 4.0. Read the source and licence terms, or check the current data status.

Are the Diesel prices live?

They are the latest prices received from Service Victoria, whose public fuel-price data is published with an approximately 24-hour delay. A station can change its price before the website updates, so confirm directly before travelling.

Does the Diesel comparison mix Standard and Premium Diesel?

Standard Diesel is preferred. A clearly labelled Premium Diesel value is used only when it is the station’s sole published diesel price. Choose the separate Premium Diesel search if you want to compare only that product.

Is the lowest pump price always the cheapest stop?

No. A detour uses fuel and time. Fuel Finder VIC can compare the route, detour, vehicle fuel use, fill amount and an eligible personal discount so the lowest board price does not automatically win.

Does a Diesel price confirm high-flow, AdBlue or B-double access?

No. The Service Victoria price records used by Fuel Finder VIC do not supply those operational details. A station feature is shown only when it comes from a configured source or a reviewed update, and it must still be confirmed directly before travelling.
