Fuel Finder VIC — Find the right stop. Not just the cheapest.
Journey planning

Find a better fuel stop along the way.

Compare published Victorian fuel prices with the distance and time needed to reach each stop. Start with your journey below, then choose your fuel, fill amount, vehicle use and any confirmed discounts.

Where are you travelling?

Your entries open the full planner. Journey addresses are used for the route request and are not saved in your browser preferences.

Privacy: these entries will appear in the resulting website link and are sent to HERE to locate the route. Use suburbs or towns instead of exact addresses if you prefer.

Before travelling: published fuel prices are supplied by Service Victoria with an approximately 24-hour delay. Prices, opening hours, stock, access conditions and route information can change. Confirm directly with the station and check current road conditions.

The detour matters as much as the board price.

  1. Enter a starting point and destination.
  2. Select the fuel type, planned fill amount and vehicle fuel use. For a truck, check the height, width, total length and weight settings.
  3. Choose eligible personal discounts and any required station features.
  4. Compare the baseline route with route-aware stops, including estimated added distance, time and total trip-and-fill cost.

Useful estimates, with the limits made visible.

Published priceThe latest price received for the selected fuel. It may differ at the pump.
Added journeyEstimated extra distance and time compared with travelling directly.
Estimated totalJourney fuel plus the planned fill, after the highest eligible discount.

Does it use the real road route?

Where the routing service is available, Fuel Finder VIC uses a current HERE road route rather than a straight-line estimate. The result identifies the routing provider. Routes remain planning aids and may not reflect closures, restrictions or changing road conditions.

Is the cheapest pump price always the best stop?

No. The comparison can include the added distance, added time, fuel used on the journey and your planned fill amount. A slightly dearer station on the route can cost less overall than a long detour.

Does it guarantee truck or B-double access?

No. For truck profiles, the planner sends the selected height, width, total length, gross weight and axle weight to HERE to improve the route request. Drivers must still confirm legal access, mass limits, clearances, turning space and site conditions directly before travel.
