The service

Fuel Finder VIC helps users find and compare Victorian fuel locations, published prices, estimated discounts, station features and route options. The service is independent and is not endorsed or certified by the Victorian Government, fuel retailers, fuel-card providers, mapping providers or navigation services.

Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn. We may correct information, restrict access or perform maintenance without notice where reasonably necessary.

Fuel prices and station information

Fuel prices are sourced from Service Victoria and are published with an approximately 24-hour delay. Site details such as fuel availability, high-flow diesel, AdBlue, opening hours, accepted cards, amenities, access conditions and vehicle suitability may come from public data, an operator or a moderated community update.

All prices, discounts, site details, availability, opening hours, access conditions and other information may be incomplete, delayed or out of date. Confirm directly with the fuel site before travelling, entering, purchasing fuel or relying on a facility.

“Cheapest”, “nearest”, “best value” and similar results are calculations based on the selected settings and available information. They are not a guarantee that a fuel site will have the lowest final price, accept a particular discount, be open or suit a vehicle when you arrive.

Private observed prices and discount amounts are estimates entered or enabled by the user. Discounts are not stacked unless expressly shown. Eligibility, limits, product exclusions and other conditions must be confirmed with the relevant provider and fuel site.

Maps, directions and vehicle-aware routes

Maps, geocoding, route calculations, distance, travel time, detours, fuel-use estimates and trip costs are planning aids only. They may be affected by incomplete map coverage, traffic, road works, closures, weather, vehicle settings and third-party service availability.

Truck and B-double routing does not guarantee legal access, bridge or overhead clearance, mass compliance, permit coverage, turning space, safe entry, parking or fuel-site suitability. Drivers and operators remain responsible for road-law compliance, permits, fatigue management, vehicle limits and checking the current route and site conditions.

Do not use Fuel Finder VIC as an emergency service, sole navigation system or substitute for official road, safety, weather or emergency information. External navigation links may not retain the vehicle profile used within Fuel Finder VIC.

Suggestions and station updates

When you submit information, you confirm that it is factual to the best of your knowledge, relevant to the service and does not contain personal, confidential, unlawful, defamatory, misleading or infringing material. Do not submit account numbers, customer records, payment details or private commercial information.

You give Fuel Finder VIC permission to review, edit, verify, store and use the submitted information to operate and improve the service. Submissions are not published automatically, may be rejected or removed, and may not receive a response. You must not impersonate another person or business.

Advertising and sponsored content

Paid placements and enhanced listings will be clearly labelled and kept separate from organic rankings. Payment does not buy a cheaper, nearer or higher organic result. Advertising enquiries do not create an agreement or reserve a placement; publication requires separate approval and agreed commercial terms.

Advertisers and operators are responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of claims they supply. Fuel Finder VIC may refuse or remove content that could mislead users, compromise ranking independence or conflict with data-source conditions.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website or interfere with other people’s access. Prohibited conduct includes attempting unauthorised access, bypassing controls, introducing malicious code, sending spam or false reports, harvesting personal information, overloading the service, or using automated requests in a way that impairs the website or its data providers.

Fuel Finder VIC branding, original layout, copy and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Fuel-price data is attributed to the State of Victoria (Service Victoria) under CC BY 4.0. Other business names, brands, maps and content remain the property of their respective owners and licensors.

Availability, warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular journey or availability of any fuel, facility or route.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fuel Finder VIC is not responsible for loss arising from delayed or incorrect information, price differences, unavailable fuel or amenities, site access problems, route restrictions, third-party services, travel decisions or unauthorised use of your device. You remain responsible for confirming information and making safe travel and purchasing decisions.

Where a guarantee, condition or remedy cannot lawfully be excluded, these terms do not exclude it. Any permitted limitation will apply only to the extent allowed by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Victoria may hear disputes, subject to any rights that apply under mandatory consumer law.
